Julie and I spent much of last Sunday, toting flyers for the exhibition all over the coast near Norah Head. We started off with a good omen – this wonderful rainbow in the sky!
I put together this short video of our Sunday morning deliveries.
In case you missed the invitation – here it is again. Please come along if you are in the area – I would love to meet you so please come and introduce yourself on the opening night or at the SUnday Brunch on the 19th if you are going to come to that.
I look forward to seeing you there!

Look For Next Thursday’s Post: Notes on the ShoreThyme Exhibition Opening
In July this year I will be involved in two different group exhibitions. The first of these will be at ShoreThyme gallery from the 7th to the 19th of July. This exhibition will be a retrospective look at the development of my work since 2010. Prior to this date, I had been experiencing a desert in the creative landscape but began working again.
This work began with a series of paintings based around a very special place in New Zealand, Cathedral Cove.
Cathedral Cove Revisited
I was challenged to begin by doing a series of works with my left hand – and as I am normally right-handed, this was quite a challenge as you can imagine. Below is the first left-handed attempt. It shows a view of the opposite side of the cave.
Come back in a couple of weeks to see some of the other works that will be showing in the exhibition. In the mean time, pencil the following details into your diary and come along to the exhibition opening.
OPENS: JULY 7 – JULY 19
OPENING EVENT: Tuesday 7th July
VENUE: ShoreThyme Gallery / Restaurant
There are also some other special surprises, which I will be announcing in June.
